Surely this news caught many people's attention, because the mobile version of Valorant can be a breath of fresh air for the generic shooting genre. Today, we want to share anything we know so far about the release of Valorant Mobile. See more below.
The Valorant Mobile Release Date
Valorant has been around for such a long time. Starting in 2001, the developer, Riot Games, announced a shooting game where players can utilize unique characters' abilities. While there are certain competitors, like Paladinz, which carry the same idea, Valorant still tops them because of how aesthetic the character models are.
Players can also buy cosmetics using the in-game currency called Valorant Points (VP). Players can top up the points in their favorite stores. For that, we highly recommend BuffBuff due to how fast and safe the transaction is.
Seeing how popular the game is, the developer wanted to penetrate the mobile market with the arrival of Valorant Mobile. Of course, it took them quite some time to adjust the PC version to a mobile version.
Now, Valorant Mobile is playable, limitedly, in China starting from 19th August 2025. After a few months from its first release, we still don't see any news regarding the global release of Valorant Mobile. Maybe if it's successful enough, we can finally enjoy Valoran Mobile in its global version.

The game is playable on both Android and iOS platforms. Before the launch, there was a closed beta play that started on 12th June 2025. In the Valorant Mobile beta, players can try new agents, maps, weapons, and mobile mechanics of Valorant for the first time.
All the players in China can now download the game by accessing the pre-download channels to install the resources. For global release, we'll wait and see.
System Requirements for Valorant Mobile Download
The minimum requirements for Valorant Mobile are not that taxing. That's understandable, because competitive games on mobile tend to have light sizes. Now, you will need to prepare at least 4GB of storage for both Android and Apple devices.
As for the system requirements, see the details below:
System requirements for Android
OS: Android 7.0 or later
GPU: Snapdragon 675 or higher
RAM: At least 4GB
System requirements for iOS
OS: iOS 11 or later
SoC: A11 Bionic or higher
RAM: At least 2GB
Seeing that the game aims for mid-low devices, we can expect it to be highly optimized. Playing the game on mobile could be the next exciting experience.
About Valorant Mobile Global Release
Until today (19/11), there's no specific news about the global release of Valorant Mobile. However, global players can always take a sneak peek at how the game is thanks to the leaks provided by the Chinese players.
As the developers wanted the game to be as optimized as the PC version, we can expect it to be launched at least in early 2026 for global release. Seeing how far it is from the Chinese launch, we think the date seems logical.
However, there will be a beta test before the game is actually launched. We can not see the information about this as well. Hopefully, there is actually a beta test for Valoran Mobile globally in a few months.
Leaks and Rumors
While we can't see the beta anywhere, at least we have some leaks to entertain us. Since the first time the developers shared the news about Valorant Mobile's development, it has quickly gained huge interest on social media.
Leaks and rumors have been actively spread by the players, as the game is now officially released in China. From what we know so far, the ones that are certain are game modes and features.
There will be a quicker Team Deathmatch mode that's faster than the one on PC. This is made specifically for mobile players who demand faster gameplay. The replay feature will be available as well, allowing players to see and measure their own gameplay after a game is finished. Matches will be shorter as well.
More Details about Gameplay and Features
Now that the Valorant Mobile is live in China, what details can we see from it? First, the agents. Agents are heroes in this game. For mobile, the developers have included fan-favorite picks, like Sage, Brimstone, and Jett. In total, there will be 15 different heroes, compared to 29 on PC.
While the abilities remain the same for all agents, there may be some adjustments to make them more comfortable to control on mobile. Aiming will also be made easier, but since the pace of the game is faster, it will still be challenging for the players.
As for the maps, we will see the same ones we find on the PC version, like Bind, Split, and Haven. There may be some additions for mobile, but we still don't have information about it right now.
Game modes are the same 5v5 plant and defuse, but there may be casual modes, like Deathmatch and Spike Rush, that may present faster gameplay. To get more players to come in, the developers might add some new modes to make things more interesting.
As the game will be adjusted to a mobile screen, the UI and controls will be different as well. Players will use touch screen controls for moving characters, releasing abilities, and more. The display will be look clean with bigger buttons for better controls. There will be a gyroscopic system that can offer accurate and flexible aiming.
